Ubisoft is actually working on Beyond Good and Evil 2?
Just heard it off of the escapist. A sequel is in development, and they are taking extra time to make this game as good, no better then the original. I applaud you Ubisoft. Us gamers can wait awhile, as long as you produce quality.
I like Naruto. Not love, but I am quite fond of it. I liken it to a childhood friend who you've slowly grown apart from, but once in awhile still rekindles that magic you two felt as a child.

My main gripe with naruto right now is all the hanging plot threads that have been skipped over for Naruto's 500th training session. He still lacks Sasuke's mastery of ass pulling.

Where is Karen? Is she a pow? How does she feel about sasuke?
Where is sakura?
What is Sai doing, is he still conflicted in loyalty now that danzo is dead?
How did Naruto react to Hinata's love confession?
What are sasuke and Madara doing? Hiding in some sort of swamp somewhere I suppose.
How is zetsu capable of being half plant and half man? Was he some form of experiment?
Why did sasuke kill the girl whose sacrificed her health to save his life multiple times?
Where is Zetsu and the other dude.?

Naruto seems to have forgotten that you cannot jump straight from wham episode to action without a little cool down inbetween. I mean remember how after the valley of the end, the manga had a little cooldown period before the timeskip and the next akatsuki attack.

Post timeskip naruto has been a rollercoaster of awesome then disapointment.

Naruto went from lovable underdog to sasuke's clingy ex-boyfriend.

Sasuke went from cold but well intentioned loner to complete asshole.

Sakura became competent.

Hinata almost disppeared.

Death became cheap.

A team of Kiba, Hinata, the bug guy, naruto and the wood guy are sent out to hunt sasuke and itachi. Yet it was all skipped over to show Sasuke's bullshitting and plot hijacking.

Itachi vs Sasuke, long hyped up battle became total bullshit.

The uchiha's then hijacked the entire plot of the manga.

The manga's theme slowly loses it's you can overcome destiny with determination message when naruto is revealed to be some chosen child and his opposition with sasuke was destined.

You jump immediately from the pain plot arc to the five hokage summit, which just spouts more stupid exposition, and reveals madara is a total idiot.

"Here is my evil plan, I will use the moon to hypnotize the entire world. Except the moons light does not reach the earth 100% of the day, so half the world could be free of my hypnosis and actively try to resist me."

At least when the homonculus tried to become a god in FMA he was using philosopher's stone so it made sense within the shows logic.

We also introduced a ton more characters the series didn't need. At least we got to see the sand sibling again.

Then we jump immediately into the Kyubi training, which was nice but would have been nicer if we had been given cooldown time to resolve the sakura, hinata and karen plot issues.

Back to Pain, his backstory was so wangsty. "Were in the middle of our epic fight, mind if I wine about my shitty life for the next few months. Then inexplicably change my mind though I had not given a shit about slaughtering innocents before because you had the capacity to forgive me."

On the whole though, naruto is recovering. I really loved his fight against the kyuubi and the revealing of naruto's mother. Who is awesome. The guy vs kisame fight essentially recaptures the spirit of old naruto where we put up with the talking to see killer action fight sequences with ninja crap. Instead of angsty shinobi pulling magical ninja powers straight out their ass.

Also Danzo and Madara are both horrible villians. Danzo lacks sympathy even when his backstory is told. Madara may share Aizen's untouchability, but lacks his genius wartime stratagem.

Bond Villian Rule #35 tell the main protagonist the exact detailings of your plan while they still have ample time to stop it.
and that is a short essay of my opinion on naruto. Yeah I was bored.
